Background:

Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 17 (CCL17) is a member of the subfamily of small cytokine CC genes characterized by two adjacent cysteine residues.  CCL17 is clustered on the q arm of chromosome 16.  It has been shown to display chemotactic activity for T lymphocytes but not monocytes or granulocytes.  CCL17 has the ability to bind to CCR4 and CCR8.  CCL17 plays a role in T-cell development in thymus along with trafficking and activation of mature T cells.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of mouse CCL17.  Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
