Background:

Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 20 (CCL20) is a member of the subfamily of small cytokine CC genes characterized by two adjacent cysteine residues.  It is a chemotactic factor that attracts lymphocytes and neutrophils but not monocytes.  In colony formation assays it inhibits proliferation of myeloid progenitor cells.  C-terminal processed forms lacking 1, 3 or 6 amino acids have been shown to be equally chemotactically active for leukocytes.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of mouse CCL20.  Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.

WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect recombinant protein)
