Jasmonate ZIM domain-containing protein 1 (JAZ1) is a repressor of jasmonate responses negatively regulated by the proteasome in an SCF(COI1) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex-dependent manner. Jasmonoyl-isoleucine (JA-Ile) specifically promotes COI1-JAZ1 interaction. JAZ1 interacts with COI1 and inositol pentakisphosphate to form a high-affinity jasmonates co-receptor.

Other Names:

Protein TIFY 10A, Jasmonate ZIM domain-containing protein 1, At1g19180, T29M8.5, ATJAZ1, JAZ, TIFY10A

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the middle region of arabidopsis thaliana JAZ1 (At1g19180). Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.

Species Specificity:

Arabidopsis thaliana

Tested Applications:

WB: 1:500-1:2,000 (detect endogenous protein*)

*: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.

 Jaz1 Antibody Western (Abiocode)

Fig 1. A) Western blot analysis of total protein extracts from wild type arabidopsis
leaves, using anti-JAZ1 (M) (R3450-2) at RT for 2 h. B) Same as in A except that
equal amounts of protein extracts from wild type (WT) or JAZ1 mutant (Mut)
arabidopsis leaves were used for Western blot, and the same filter was re-probed
with a non-relevant Ab for loading controls.
