Interleukin 17F (IL17F) is a cytokine expressed by activated T cells that stimulates the production of other cytokines, including IL6 and IL8 and granulocyte colony stimulating factor.  It can also regulate cartilage matrix turnover.  It has been found to inhibit the angiogenesis of endothelial cells and induce endothelial cells to produce IL2, TGFB1/TGFB, and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1.

Other Names:

IL-17F, Cytokine ML-1, ML1, Interleukin-24, IL-24, IL24

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human IL17F.  Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
