Background:

Bifunctional arginine demethylase and lysyl-hydroxylase JMJD6 is a dioxygenase that can both act as a histone arginine demethylase and a lysyl-hydroxylase. JMJD6 is required for differentiation of multiple organs during embryogenesis. It acts as a key regulator of hematopoietic differentiation: it is required for angiogenic sprouting by regulating the pre-mRNA splicing activity of U2AF2/U2AF65. JMJD6 seems to be necessary for the regulation of macrophage cytokine responses.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with GST-fusion proteins containing the N-terminal region of human JMJD6, and provided as whole antiserum. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied as whole rabbit serum containing 30% Glycerol and 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20oC. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
