R0717-2 - ICOS (N2) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 23 I 28 kDa Uniprot ID: Q9Y6W8 Background: Inducible T-cell costimulator (ICOS) enhances all basic T-cell responses to a foreign antigen, namely proliferation, secretion of lymphokines, up-regulation of molecules that mediate cell-cell interaction, and effective help for antibody secretion by B-cells. ICOS is essential both for efficient interaction between T and B-cells and for normal antibody responses to T-cell dependent antigens. ICOS does not up-regulate the production of interleukin-2, but superinduces the synthesis of interleukin-10. ICOS prevents the apoptosis of pre-activated T-cells and plays a critical role in CD40-mediated class switching of immunoglobin isotypes. Defects in ICOS are the cause of immunodeficiency common variable type 1. Other Names: Inducible T-cell costimulator, Activation-inducible lymphocyte immunomediatory molecule, CD278, AILIM Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human ICOS. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: (A) mouse brain, (B) mouse spleen, (C) mouse liver; using anti-ICOS(N2) (R0717-2) at RT for 2 h. |
