Background:

WIPF2 plays an active role in the formation of cell surface protrusions downstream of activated PDGFB receptors. WIPF2 plays an important role in actin-microspike formation through cooperation with WASL. WIPF2 may cooperate with WASP and WASL to induce mobilization and reorganization of the actin filament system. WIPF2 is ubiquitously expressed, with high expression in brain, kidney, lung, and placenta.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal of human WIPF2. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
