Background:

POU2F3 binds to a specific octamer DNA motif and regulate cell type-specific differentiation pathways. POU2F3 is primarily expressed in the epidermis, and plays a critical role in keratinocyte proliferation and differentiation. POU2F3 is also a candidate tumor suppressor protein, and aberrant promoter methylation of this gene may play a role in cervical cancer.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of mouse POU2F3. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
