R2171-2 - LIMD1 (C2) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 72 kDa Uniprot ID: Q9UGP4 Background: LIMD1 participates in the assembly of numerous protein complexes and is involved in several cellular processes such as cell fate determination, cytoskeletal organization, repression of gene transcription, cell-cell adhesion, cell differentiation, proliferation and migration. LIMD1 positively regulates microRNA (miRNA)-mediated gene silencing and is essential for P-body formation and integrity. LIMD1 acts as a hypoxic regulator by bridging an association between the prolyl hydroxylases and VHL enabling efficient degradation of HIF1A. LIMD1 acts as a transcriptional corepressor for SNAI1- and SNAI2/SLUG-dependent repression of E-cadherin transcription. LIMD1 negatively regulates the Hippo signaling pathway and antagonizes phosphorylation of YAP1. Inhibits E2F-mediated transcription, and suppresses the expression of the majority of genes with E2F1-responsive elements. LIMD1 regulates osteoblast development, function, differentiation and stress osteoclastogenesis. LIMD1 enhances the ability of TRAF6 to activate adapter protein complex 1 (AP-1) and negatively regulates the canonical Wnt receptor signaling pathway in osteoblasts. LIMD1 may act as a tumor suppressor by inhibiting cell proliferation. Other Names: LIM domain-containing protein 1 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing C-terminal region of human LIMD1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Product Data: (A) mouse thymus, (B) human HeLa; using anti-LIMD1 (C) (R2171-2) at RT for 2 h. |
