Background:

GLI1 acts as a transcriptional activator. GLI1 may also regulate the transcription of specific genes during normal development. GLI1 also plays a role in craniofacial development and digital development, as well as development of the central nervous system and gastrointestinal tract. GLI1 mediates SHH signaling and thus cell proliferation and differentiation.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing C-terminal region of human GLI1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
