Background:

LEPR is the receptor for obesity factor (leptin). On ligand binding, LEPR mediates signaling through JAK2/STAT3. LEPR is involved in the regulation of fat metabolism, and in a hematopoietic pathway, LEPR is required for normal lymphopoiesis. LEPR may also play a role in reproduction. LEPR can also mediate the ERK/FOS signaling pathway.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing C-terminal region of human LEPR. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
