R0738-3 - SYT1 (N3) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 48 | 58 kDa Uniprot ID: P21579 Background: Synaptotagmin-1 (SYT1) is a single-pass membrane protein belonging to the synaptotagmin family. SYT1 may have a regulatory role in the membrane interactions during trafficking of synaptic vesicles at the active zone of the synapse. SYT1 binds acidic phospholipids with a specificity that requires the presence of both an acidic head group and a diacyl backbone. A Ca2+-dependent interaction between SYT1 and putative receptors for activated protein kinase C has also been reported. SYT1 can bind to at least three additional proteins in a Ca2+-independent manner; these are neurexins, syntaxin and AP2. Other Names: Synaptotagmin-1, Synaptotagmin I, p65, SVP65, SYT Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human SYT1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts frommouse brain; using anti-SYT1 (N3) (R0738-3) at RT for 2 h. |
