Product Introduction:

vPair^TM antibodies represent a pair of fully characterized antibodies that recognize two different regions of a target protein. Background:

Hematopoietic progenitor cell antigen CD34 is a single-pass type I membrane protein that is selectively expressed on hematopoietic progenitor cells and the small vessel endothelium of various tissues. It may function as an adhesion molecule in early hematopoiesis by mediating the attachment of stem cells to the bone marrow extracellular matrix or to stromal cells. It may act as a scaffold for the attachment of lineage specific glycans, allowing stem cells to bind to lectins expressed by stromal cells or other marrow components. CD34 presents carbohydrate ligands to selectins.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing either the middle [CD34 (M) (R0591-1)] or the C-terminal [CD34 (C2) (R0591-3)] region of human CD34. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
