Background:

POU domain, class 6, transcription factor 1 (POU6F1) belongs to the class-6 subfamily of the POU transcription factor family. It is expressed exclusively in the developing brain in the embryo. In adults, POU6F1 is expressed in brain, heart, skeletal muscle, and lung. One potential function of POU6F1 is to suppress proliferative signals of postmitotic neurons.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human POU6F1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
