R2267-2 - GFRA1 (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 51 kDa Uniprot ID: P56159 Background: Glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF) and neurturin (NTN) are two structurally related, potent neurotrophic factors that play key roles in the control of neuron survival and differentiation. GDNF family receptor alpha-1 (GFRA1) is a member of the GDNF receptor family. It is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol(GPI)-linked cell surface receptor for both GDNF and NTN, and mediates activation of the RET tyrosine kinase receptor. GFRA1 is a candidate gene for Hirschsprung disease. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for this gene [provided by RefSeq]. Other Names: GDNF family receptor alpha-1, GDNF receptor alpha-1, GDNFR-alpha-1, GFR-alpha-1, RET ligand 1, Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human GFRA1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Species Specificity: Human Product Data: (A) human Jurkat, (B) human HeLa; using anti-GFRA1 (C) (R2267-2) at RT for 2 h. |
