Background:

Transcription factor GATA-4 is a transcriptional activator that binds to the consensus sequence 5'-AGATAG-3'. GATA-4 acts as a transcriptional activator of ANF in cooperation with NKX2-5, and promotes cardiac myocyte enlargemen.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human GATA4. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
