R0076-1 - MUC1 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted M.W.: 122 kDa Uniprot ID: P15941
Background: Mucin 1 (MUC1) is a member of the mucin family. It is a membrane bound glycosylated phosphoprotein. It anchors to the apical surface of many epithelia by a transmembrane domain, with the degree of glycosylation varying with cell type. MUC1 can act as an adhesion or anti-adhesion protein. It also serves a protective function by binding to pathogens and functions in a cell signaling capacity. Overexpression, aberrant intracellular localization, and changes in glycosylation of MUC1 have been associated with carcinomas. Other Names: RP11-263K19.2, CD227, EMA, H23AG, KL-6, MAM6, MUC-1, MUC-1/SEC, MUC-1/X, MUC-1/Z Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human MUC1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
