Background:

COMM domain-containing protein 5 (COMMD5) is also known as Hypertension-related calcium-regulated gene protein (HCaRG), which is a nuclear protein that contains a COMM domain. COMMD5 down-regulates activation of NF-kappa-B, and is potentially involved in the control of cell proliferation. COMMD5 is highly expressed in heart, stomach, jejunum, kidney, liver, and adrenal gland. Expression of COMMD5 is generally higher in adult organs than in fetal tissues, particularly in heart, kidney, and liver.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human COMMD5. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
