R5000-1 - Goat anti-Rabbit IgG, HRP-conjugated
|
Quantity: 1 mg in 1 ml Application: WB, ELISA, IHC
Background: Horseradish peroxidase is a 44 kD glycoprotein with 6 lysine residues which can be conjugated to a labeled molecule. It produces a colored, fluorimetric, or luminescent derivative of the labeled molecule when incubated with a proper substrate, allowing it to be detected and quantified. HRP is often used in conjugates to determine the presence of a molecular target. HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies are widely used in Western blot (WB), ELISA and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) in conjunction with specific substrates to produce chemiluminescent or colorimetric signals. Source and Purity: Goat anti-Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with whole rabbit IgG (H+L). Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 50% Glycerol, 0.02% Thimerosal, and 5 mg/ml BSA. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Rabbit Tested Applications: WB: 1:3,000-1:5,000 ELISA: 1:5,000 – 1:20,000 IHC: 1/1000 - 1/5000
