Background:

The zinc finger protein 281 (ZNF281) belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family.  ZNF281 is involved in transcriptional regulation. ZNF281 represses the transcription of a number of genes, including gastrin and ornithine decarboxylase, by binding to the G-rich box in the enhancer region of these genes. ZNF281 is phosphorylated upon DNA damage, probably by ATM or ATR.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with GST-fusion proteins containing either the C-terminal [ZNF281 (C) (R0173-1b)] or the N-terminal [ZNF281 (N2) (R0173-2)] region of mouse ZNF281. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
