Background:

E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase RAD18 belongs to the RAD18 family and is involved in postreplication repair of UV-damaged DNA. RAD18 associates to the E2 ubiquitin conjugating enzyme UBE2B to form the UBE2B-RAD18 ubiquitin ligase complex involved in mono-ubiquitination of DNA-associated PCNA on 'Lys-164'. RAD18 also has ssDNA binding activity.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human RAD18. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
