Background:

Prominin-2 (PROM2) is a member of the prominin family of pentaspan membrane glycoproteins. PROM1 localizes to basal epithelial cells and may be involved in the organization of plasma membrane microdomains. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants [provided by RefSeq].

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human PROM2. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
