Background:

Homeobox expressed in ES cells 1 (HESX1) is a conserved homeobox protein that is a transcriptional repressor in the developing forebrain and pituitary gland. Mutations in the HESX1 gene are associated with septooptic dysplasia, HESX1-related growth hormone deficiency, and combined pituitary hormone deficiency [provided by RefSeq].

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human HESX1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
