Background:

Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GMCSF) is also known as Colony stimulating factor 2 (CSF2), which is a cytokine that controls the production, differentiation, and function of granulocytes, macrophages, eosinophils and erythrocytes.  The active form of GMCSF is found extracellularly as a homodimer.  Deletion of the gene location on chromosome 5q has been implicated with 5q-syndrom and acute myelogenous leukemia.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of mouse GMCSF.  Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
