Background:

E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase Praja-2 (PJA2) contains a RING-type zinc finger domain and has E2-dependent E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase activity. PJA2 is responsible for ubiquitination of cAMP-dependent protein kinase type I and type II-alpha/beta regulatory subunits and for targeting them for proteasomal degradation. PJA2 is essential for PKA-mediated long-term memory processes.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human PJA2.  Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
