vPair^TM antibodies represent a pair of fully characterized antibodies that recognize two different regions of a target protein. Background:

Follicle-stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR) belongs to family 1 of G-protein coupled receptors. It is a multi-pass cell membrane protein and is the receptor for follicle stimulating hormone and functions in gonad development. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylate cyclase. Mutations in this gene cause ovarian dysgenesis type 1, and also ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants of FSHR.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with GST-fusion proteins containing either the N-terminal [FSHR (N) (R2406-1)] or the C-terminal [FSHR (C1) (R2406-2)] region of human FSHR. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
