R2711-1 - EXT1 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 86 kDa Uniprot ID: Q16394 Background: Exostosin-1 (EXT1) is an endoplasmic reticulum-resident type II transmembrane glycosyltransferase involved in the chain elongation step of heparan sulfate biosynthesis. EXT1 forms a homo/hetero-oligomeric complex with EXT2. The EXT1/EXT2 complex possesses substantially higher glycosyltransferase activity than EXT1 or EXT2 alone. EXT1 appears to be a tumor suppressor. Mutations in the EXT1 gene cause the type I form of multiple exostoses. Other Names: Exostosin-1, Glucuronosyl-N-acetylglucosaminyl-proteoglycan/N-acetylglucosaminyl-proteoglycan 4-alpha-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase, Multiple exostoses protein 1, Putative tumor suppressor protein EXT1, LGCR, LGS, ttv Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human EXT1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from(A) human HeLa, (B, C) human Jurkat; using 2 independent Abs against 2 distinct regions of human EXT1 at RT for 2 h. |
