Background:

Rap1 GTPase-GDP dissociation stimulator 1 (RAP1GDS1) is a stimulatory GDP/GTP exchange protein with GTPase activity. RAP1GDS1 stimulates GDP/GTP exchange reaction of a group of small GTP-binding proteins (G proteins) including Rap1a/Rap1b, RhoA, RhoB and KRas, by stimulating the dissociation of GDP from and the subsequent binding of GTP to each small G protein. Multiple isoforms exist for RAP1GDS1 with M.W. ranging from 56-66 kDa.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human RAP1GDS1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
