R0117-1 - AURKB (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted M.W.: 39 kDa Uniprot ID: Q96GD4 Background: AURKB is a key regulator for the onset of cytokinesis during mitosis and may be directly involved in regulating the cleavage of polar spindle microtubules. AURKB is a component of the chromosomal passenger complex (CPC), which has essential functions at the centromere in ensuring correct chromosome alignment and segregation and is required for chromatin-induced microtubule stabilization and spindle assembly. AURKB phosphorylates 'Ser-10' and 'Ser-28' of histone H3 during mitosis. Other Names: AIK2, AIM1, ARK2, STK12, Aurora kinase B, Aurora- and IPL1-like midbody-associated protein 1, STK-1, Serine/threonine-protein kinase aurora-B, Serine/threonine-protein kinase 12 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human AURKB. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
