R3074-1 - TAAR4 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 39 I 42 kDa Uniprot ID: Q5QD15 Background: Trace amine receptor 4 (TAAR4) is a multi-pass membrane protein that belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. TAAR4 is an olfactory receptor specific for 2-phenylethylamine, a trace amine present at high concentration in the urine of carnivore species which plays a key role in fear and avoidance responses. 2-phenylethylamine acts as a kairomone in the chemical detection of carnivore odor and triggers fear in mice. TAAR4 is probably mediated by the G(s)-class of G-proteins which activate adenylate cyclase. Other Names: Trace amine-associated receptor 4, TaR-4, Trace amine receptor 4, mTaar4, 2-phenylethylamine receptor, Gm226 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing N-terminal region of mouse TAAR4. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: from mouse brain; using anti-TAAR4 (N) (R3074-1) at RT for 2 h.. |
