R0551-1 - FSCN1 (C1) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 55 I 50-52 kDa Uniprot ID: Q16658 Background: FSCN1 belongs to the fascin family and organizes filamentous actin into bundles with a minimum of 4.1:1 actin/fascin ratio. It plays a role in the organization of actin filament bundles and the formation of microspikes, membrane ruffles, and stress fibers. FSCN1 is important for the formation of a diverse set of cell protrusions, such as filopodia, and for cell motility and migration. Expression of this gene is known to be regulated by several microRNAs, and overexpression of this gene may play a role in the metastasis of multiple types of cancer by increasing cell motility. Other Names: 55 kDa actin-bundling protein, Singed-like protein, p55, FAN1, HSN, SNL, Fascin Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human FSCN1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts fromA) mouse brain, B) mouse thymus, C) human HeLa; using anti-FSCN1 (C1) (R0551-1) at RT for 2 h. |
