R1873-2 - ASCL1 (M) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 25 I 29 kDa Uniprot ID: P50553 Background: Achaete-scute homolog 1 (ASCL1) is a member of the basic helix-loop-helix (BHLH) family of transcription factors. ASCL1 activates transcription by binding to the E box (5'-CANNTG-3'). Dimerization with other BHLH proteins is required for efficient DNA binding. ASCL1 plays a role in the neuronal commitment and differentiation and in the generation of olfactory and autonomic neurons. Mutations in this gene may contribute to the congenital central hypoventilation syndrome (CCHS) phenotype in rare cases [provided by RefSeq]. Other Names: Achaete-scute homolog 1, ASH-1, hASH1, Class A basic helix-loop-helix protein 46, bHLHa46 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the middle region of human ASCL1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts fromA) mouse brain, B) human Jurkat; using anti-ASCL1 (M) (R1873-2) at RT for 2 h. |
