M5001-1 - anti-Rabbit IgG Light-Chain, HRP-conjugated
|
Quantity: 0.3 mg Application: WB, ELISA, IHC
Isotype: Mouse IgG1 Clone: 8F3
PredictedObserved M.W.: 25 kDa
Background: Horseradish peroxidase is a 44 kD glycoprotein with 6 lysine residues which can be conjugated to a labeled molecule. It produces a colored, fluorimetric, or luminescent derivative of the labeled molecule when incubated with a proper substrate, allowing it to be detected and quantified. HRP is often used in conjugates to determine the presence of a molecular target. HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies are widely used in Western blot (WB), ELISA and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) in conjunction with specific substrates to produce chemiluminescent or colorimetric signals. Mouse anti-rabbit IgG light-chain specific monoclonal antibody recognizes the light chain of rabbit IgG (approximately 25 kD), and it does not bind to rabbit IgG heavy chain (about 50 kDa) on Western blot.
Source and Purity:
Mouse anti-rabbit IgG light-chain specific monoclonal antibody was produced by immunizing animals with rabbit IgG light-chain. Antibodies were purified by Caprylic Acid- Ammonium Sulfate precipitation.
