Product Introduction:

vPair^TM antibodies represent a pair of fully characterized antibodies that recognize two different regions of a target protein. Background:

Toll-like receptor 6 (TLR6) is a single-pass type I membrane protein belonging to the Toll-like receptor family. TLR6 participates in the innate immune response to Gram-positive bacteria and fungi. TLR6 specifically recognizes diacylated and, to a lesser extent, triacylated lipopeptides. Furthermore, TLR6 also acts via MYD88 and TRAF6, leading to NF-kappa-B activation, cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with GST-fusion proteins containing either the N-terminal [TLR6 (N) (R1128-1)] or the C-terminal [TLR6 (C) (R1128-2)] region of human TLR6. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
