R1297-2 - IRF2 (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 39 I 46 kDa Uniprot ID: P14316 Background: Interferon regulatory factor 2 (IRF2) belongs to the IRF family. It specifically binds to the upstream regulatory region of type I IFN and IFN-inducible MHC class I genes (the interferon consensus sequence (ICS)) and represses those genes. IRF2 also acts as an activator for several genes including H4 and IL7. It constitutively binds to the ISRE promoter to activate IL7. It is involved in cell cycle regulation through binding the site II (HiNF-M) promoter region of H4 and activating transcription during cell growth. IRF2 antagonizes IRF1 transcriptional activation. Other Names: Interferon regulatory factor 2, IRF-2 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing C-terminal region of human IRF2. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: from mouse thymus, using anti-IRF2 (C) (R1297-2) at RT for 2 h. |
