R0297-1 - WNT5A (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 42 I 48 kDa Uniprot ID: P22725 Background: Protein Wnt-5a (WNT5A) belongs to the Wnt family and is a ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors. WNT5A can activate or inhibit canonical Wnt signaling, depending on receptor context. In the presence of FZD4, WNT5A activates beta-catenin signaling. In the presence of ROR2, WNT5A inhibits the canonical Wnt pathway by promoting beta-catenin degradation through a GSK3-independent pathway which involves down-regulation of beta-catenin-induced reporter gene expression. Other Names: Protein Wnt-5a Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of mouse WNT5A. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from A) mouse thymus; B) human HeLa; using anti-WNT5A (N) (R0297-1) at RT for 2 h. |
