R1073-4 - ZBTB17 (N1) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB
Predicted | Observed MW: 88 | 100, 150 kDa Uniprot ID: Q60821
Background:
Zinc finger and BTB domain-containing protein 17 (ZBTB17) belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. It may function as a housekeeping DNA-binding protein that regulates the expression of specific genes. ZBTB17 has been shown to bind to the promoters of adenovirus major late protein and cyclin D1 and activate transcription. It also has potent growth arrest activity, probably through inhibition of cell cycle progression. It is required for early embryonic development during gastrulation.
Other Names:
Zinc finger and BTB domain-containing protein 17, Myc-interacting zinc finger protein 1, Miz-1, LP-1
Source and Purity:
Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of mouse ZBTB17. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
Storage Buffer and Condition:
Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
Species Specificity:
Mouse
Tested Applications:
WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*)
*: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
Product Data:
Fig 1. A) Western blot of total cell extracts from human 293 cells transfectedwith an empty vector (Vec) or an expression construct of mouse ZBTB17, usinganti-ZBTB17 (N1) (R1073-4) at RT for 2 h. B) Same as in A except that total cellextracts from WT and Zbtb17-null MEF cells were used. |
