Background:

Interleukin 20 (IL20) is a cytokine that signals through signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) in keratinocytes.  Structurally IL20 is similar to interlukin 10.  A specific receptor for IL20 is expressed in skin that is upregulated in psoriatic skin, indicating a potential role for IL20 in epidermal function and psoriasis.

Source and Purity:

Mouse monoclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human IL20. Antibodies were purified by Caprylic Acid- Ammonium Sulfate precipitation. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 40% Glycerol, 0.02% Thimerosal. Store at -20 °C. Stable for at least 6 months from date of receipt.
