Background:

Zinc finger protein 804A (ZNF804A) is identified by a genome-wide association study (GWAS) in which a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP rs1344706) in ZNF804A is associated with a combined diagnosis of schizophrenia (SZ) and bipolar disorder. Although the molecular function of ZNF804A is unknown, ZNF804A contains a C2H2-type zinc-finger domain, suggesting that ZNF804A may play a role in DNA binding and transcriptional regulation.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing N-terminal region of human ZNF804A. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
