Background:

Transcription factor 4 (TCF4) is a transcription factor that binds to the immunoglobulin enchancer Mu-E5/KE5-motif, and is involved in the initiation of neuronal differentiation. TCF4 activates transcription by binding to the E box (5'-CANNTG-3'). TCF4 binds to the E-box present in the somatostatin receptor 2 initiator element (SSTR2-INR) to activate transcription. TCF4 preferentially binds to either 5'-ACANNTGT-3' or 5'-CCANNTGG-3'.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing C-terminal region of human TCF4. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
