R3266-2 - TCF4 (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 71 kDa Uniprot ID: P15884 Background: Transcription factor 4 (TCF4) is a transcription factor that binds to the immunoglobulin enchancer Mu-E5/KE5-motif, and is involved in the initiation of neuronal differentiation. TCF4 activates transcription by binding to the E box (5'-CANNTG-3'). TCF4 binds to the E-box present in the somatostatin receptor 2 initiator element (SSTR2-INR) to activate transcription. TCF4 preferentially binds to either 5'-ACANNTGT-3' or 5'-CCANNTGG-3'. Other Names: Transcription factor 4, TCF-4, Class B basic helix-loop-helix protein 19, bHLHb19, Immunoglobulin transcription factor 2, ITF-2, SL3-3 enhancer factor 2, SEF-2, BHLHB19, ITF2, SEF2 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing C-terminal region of human TCF4. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: from human Jurkat; using anti-TCF4 (C) (R3266-2) at RT for 2 h. |
