R3201-1 - ZFP36 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 34 I 42 kDa Uniprot ID: P26651 Background: Zinc finger protein 36 homolog (ZFP36) is an mRNA-binding protein involved in post-transcriptional regulation of AU-rich element (ARE)-containing mRNAs. ZFP36 acts by specifically binding to ARE-containing mRNAs and promoting their degradation. ZFP36 recruits deadenylase CNOT7 (and probably the CCR4-NOT complex) via association with CNOT1. ZFP36 also plays a key role in the post-transcriptional regulation of tumor necrosis factor (TNF). Other Names: Tristetraprolin, TTP, G0/G1 switch regulatory protein 24, Growth factor-inducible nuclear protein NUP475, Protein TIS11A, TIS11, Zinc finger protein 36 homolog, Zfp-36, G0S24, RNF162A, TIS11A, TTP Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing N-terminal region of human ZFP36. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: A, C) mouse thymus, B) human Jurkat; using 2 independent Abs against 2 distinct regions of human ZFP36 at RT for 2 h. |
