Background: 

Intraflagellar transport protein 81 homolog (IFT81) is a component of the intraflagellar transport (IFT) complex B: together with IFT74, it forms a tubulin-binding module that specifically mediates transport of tubulin within the cilium. IFT81 binds to tubulin via its CH (calponin-homology)-like region, and is required for ciliogenesis.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human IFT81. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
