Product Introduction:

vPair^TM antibodies represent a pair of fully characterized antibodies that recognize two different regions of a target protein. Background:

MYST histone acetyltransferase 1 (MYST1) belongs to the MYST family of histone acetyltransferases, where are named for the founding members of MOZ, yeast YBF2 and SAS2, and TIP60.  Members of this family contain a conserved sequence known as a MYST region, which contains a canonical acetyl-CoA-binding site and a C2HC-type zinc finger motif.  MYST1 is thought to be involved in transcriptional activation.  It also may influence the function of ATM.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing either the N-terminal [MYST1 (N) (R0123-1)] or the C-terminal region [MYST1 (C) (R0123-2)] of human MYST1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogens. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
