Product Introduction:

vPair^TM antibodies represent a pair of fully characterized antibodies that recognize two different regions of a target protein. Background:

Forkhead box protein O3 (FOXO3) is a transcriptional activator which triggers apoptosis in the absence of survival factors, including neuronal cell death upon oxidative stress. FOXO3 recognizes and binds to the DNA sequence 5'-[AG]TAAA[TC]A-3'. FOXO3 participates in post-transcriptional regulation of MYC: following phosphorylation by MAPKAPK5, promotes induction of miR-34b and miR-34c expression, 2 post-transcriptional regulators of MYC that bind to the 3'UTR of MYC transcript and prevent its translation.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with GST-fusion proteins containing either the N-terminal [FOXO3 (N) (R2928-1)] or the C-terminal [FOXO3 (C) (R2928-3)] region of human FOXO3. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
