R3361-2 - FAP (C1) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 88 I 90, 130 kDa Uniprot ID: Q12884 Background:
Seprase (FAP) is a single-pass type II membrane protein belonging to the peptidase S9B family. In association with DPP4, FAP is involved in the pericellular proteolysis of the extracellular matrix (ECM), the migration and invasion of endothelial cells into the ECM. FAP may have a role in tissue remodeling during development and wound healing, and may contribute to invasiveness in malignant cancers.
Other Names:
Seprase, 170 kDa melanoma membrane-bound gelatinase, Fibroblast activation protein alpha, Integral membrane serine protease
Source and Purity:
Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human FAP. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
Storage Buffer and Condition:
Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
Species Specificity:
Human, Mouse
Tested Applications:
WB: 1:500-1:2,000 (detect endogenous protein*)
*: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
