R0144-1 - IL5 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ug Application: ELISA Predicted M.W.: 15 kDa Uniprot ID: P04401
Background: Interleukin 5 (IL5) is a cytokine that acts as a growth and differentiation factor for B cells and eosinophils. It is the primary regulator of eosinopoiesis as well as eosinophil maturation and activation. Elevated levels of IL5 are linked to asthma and hypereosinophilic syndromes. The receptor for IL5 is composed of a heterodimer, with the beta subunit capable of also binding to IL3 and colony stimulating factor 2. Other Names: RP23-239O19.2, Il-5, B-cell growth factor II, BCGF-II, Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte inducer, Eosinophil differentiation factor, T-cell replacing factor, TRF Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of mouse IL5. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Mouse Tested Applications: ELISA: 1:1,000- 1:10,000 (detect native recombinant protein in a direct ELISA assay). Suitable for using as ELISA capture or detection antibodies. |
