R3356-1 - PEPC (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB
Predicted I Observed M.W.: 110 I 125 kDa Uniprot ID: Q84VW9 Background: Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase (PEPC) is also known as Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase 3 (PPC3), which is a cytosolic PEPC that has activity when expressed in E.coli. Its mRNA is most abundantly expressed in roots and siliques. PEPC belongs to the plant-type PEPC family. It can form an enzymatically active complex with a castor bean ortholog of PPC4, which encodes a bacterial-type PEPC. PEPC is often used as a marker for the cytoplasmic protein fraction. Other Names: Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase 3, AtPPC3, PEPC 3, PEPCase 3, PPC3, PPC Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of arabidopsis thaliana PEPC (At3g14940). Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Arabidopsis thaliana Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:2,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
