Background:

Protein patched homolog 2 (PTCH2) is a transmembrane receptor of the patched gene family. PTCH2 may function as a tumor suppressor in the hedgehog signaling pathway. Alterations in the PTCH2 gene have been associated with nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome, basal cell carcinoma, medulloblastoma, and susceptibility to congenital macrostomia.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human PTCH2. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
