Background:

HSD17B2 is a single-pass type II membrane protein that belongs to the short-chain dehydrogenases/reductases (SDR) family. HSD17B2 is capable of catalyzing the interconversion of testosterone and androstenedione, as well as estradiol and estrone. HSD17B2 also has 20-alpha-HSD activity and uses NADH while EDH17B3 uses NADPH.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing various regions of human HSD17B2. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
