R0704-1 - PCSK9 (N1) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 74 kDa Uniprot ID: Q8NBP7 Background: Proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) is a proprotein convertase belonging to the proteinase K subfamily of the secretory subtilase family. PCSK9 is synthesized as a soluble zymogen that undergoes autocatalytic intramolecular processing in the endoplasmic reticulum. PCSK9 plays a role in cholesterol homeostasis and may have a role in the differentiation of cortical neurons. Mutations in the PCSK9 gene have been associated with a third form of autosomal dominant familial hypercholesterolemia (HCHOLA3). Other Names: FH3, HCHOLA3, NARC-1, Proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9, Neural apoptosis-regulated convertase 1, Proprotein convertase 9, PC9, Subtilisin/kexin-like protease PC9, PSEC0052 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human PCSK9. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts fromA) human HeLa, B) human Jurkat; using anti-PCSK9 (N1) (R0704-1) at RT for 2 h. |
